Notes Client 6.0.1 Windows XP


Hi,
I am exporting a large no of documents to excel thru LS.But since the no of documents is high the notes client hangs for few mins.Is there any way to run the export in background so that i can continue usong excel while the report is generated.
Help is reqd urgently.
